How to use it

  1. Tick the times tables your child is learning.
  2. Choose the number of questions, the order and the question type.
  3. Tap Print or Download PDF. Tap New questions for a fresh sheet.

Tips for worksheet practice

  • Keep it short. 10 or 20 questions a day is plenty. Stop while it is still fun.
  • Mix in older tables. Add one or two tables your child already knows, so they stay fresh.
  • Use the missing number questions. 3 × __ = 12 links multiplication to division.
  • Let your child check the answers. Fold the answer key under and mark the sheet together.

Questions parents ask

How many questions should a worksheet have?

For a child who is new to a table, 10 to 20 questions is enough. Short, regular practice works better than one long sheet.

In order or mixed?

Start in order, so your child sees the pattern of the table. Switch to mixed once they know it, so they answer each fact from memory instead of counting up.

What are missing number questions?

Questions like 3 × __ = 12, where the child finds the missing factor. They are a first step toward division.

Can I make a different worksheet every day?

Yes. Tap New questions to mix the questions again. Each sheet is made in your browser, with no sign-up and no limit.

Is there an answer key?

Yes. Leave the answer key box ticked and it prints on page 2, so you can mark the sheet quickly.
