What Math Learner is

Math Learner is a math app for kids aged 3 to 10. Pip the owl guides children through counting, writing numbers, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, in short games. The first 15 levels of every world are free, and the app works in 33 languages.

This site has the app, free printable times tables, and simple guides that help parents with early math.

How we write

We are open about how our guides are made.

• Each guide is drafted with the help of AI.
• Every number, date and worked example is checked by a script, not just read by eye.
• We open each source before we cite it, and we only say what the page really says.
• The owner of Math Learner spot-checks posts, and we fix mistakes as soon as we find them. The "Updated" date shows when a guide last changed.

Our guides are general education. They are not medical advice or a diagnosis. If you are worried about your child's progress, talk to their teacher.

Who writes it

Every guide is published by the Math Learner team. We make the app and we write for parents, so we aim to be useful first and to be honest about what our own app can and cannot do.
