How to use it
- Choose 1 to 10 or 1 to 12, and a grid or one list per table.
- Pick color, black and white (saves ink) or a blank chart to fill in.
- Tap Print, or Download PDF to save it and print later.
Ways to use the chart with your child
- Find a fact. For 3 × 4, put one finger on 3 in the left column and one on 4 in the top row. Slide them together: the answer is where they meet.
- Spot the swap. 3 × 4 and 4 × 3 give the same answer, so half the chart repeats the other half. There are fewer facts to learn than it looks.
- Look at the diagonal. The shaded squares from the top left to the bottom right are the square numbers: 1, 4, 9, 16 and so on.
- Fill in a blank chart. Start with the easy rows (1, 10, 2 and 5), then check with the filled-in chart. It turns the chart into recall practice.

Questions parents ask
How do I read a multiplication chart?
Find the first number in the left column and the second number in the top row. Follow the row and the column until they meet. The number in that square is the answer.
Should I print the 1 to 10 or the 1 to 12 chart?
Use the one that matches your child's school. Some schools teach the times tables up to 10 × 10, others up to 12 × 12. If you are not sure, start with 1 to 10.
Is the chart really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no ads. The chart is made in your browser, so you can print as many copies as you like.
How do I save the chart as a PDF?
Tap Download PDF. The file is made on your device and saved to your downloads. You can also tap Print and choose Save as PDF in the print window.
What is the blank chart for?
Your child fills in the answers from memory, then checks them against the filled-in chart. Answering from memory helps facts stick better than reading them.
